Pinoy Photo and Travel Bloggers invades Boracay!
Posted by on January 14, 2008
First of a series
Some twelve photo and travel bloggers (including me!) were sent to the island paradise of Boracay, Philippines for a familiarization tour. The trip was made possible by South East Asian Airlines (SeAir) and Microtel Hotel Boracay.

Who would have thought that I would be frolicking in the white powdery sand of Boracay?
If you would review my proposed travel plan for 2008, Boracay island was never included on the list. I’m just so lucky to get invited to join this trip!
We really had so much fun despite the very uncooperative weather. It rained all Saturday long. That was supposed to be the day where we will be having our island hopping, fish feeding and snorkelling activities.
It was also my first time to fly with a Dornier 328 aircraft. To be honest, I was kind of scared at first when I learned that we will be flying withy a Dornier 328. But all my fears became excitement when we finally took off Friday 8:30 in the morning. It’s not a scary flight at all. The plane’s very safe, and the flight attendant, very friendly.
We stayed in Microtel Hotel Boracay. The hotel is located along the Diniwid Beach, a 15 minute stroll away from the Boracay Boat Station 1.
After freshening up, and a hearty lunch, we immediately walked the famed White Beach of Boracay taking photos from time to time.
To be continued…
