Flying with SeAir’s Dornier 328 aircraft
Posted on January 16, 2008
Last weekend Southeast Airlines sent a dozen of bloggers to the island paradise of Boracay in central Philippines for a familiarization tour. I must admit, this is my first time to take a SeAir flight.

SeAir offers the fastest flight going to Boracay in 35 minutes! Can any other airline beat that? We’ll that’s what they promise to their customers: bringing you to the island paradise, the fastest way.
SeAir is currently using a Dornier 328 aircraft for their Manila-Boracay route. Dornier 328 is a 32-seater aircraft perfect for short runways. The seats are comfortable with enough legroom, a must for every airline. The seats are made of leather. And because the SeAir’s Dornier 328 is smaller than aircrafts of airline giants like Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines, the plane cruises at a lower altitude, thus giving you a newer perspective of the islands under you.
And contrary to many horror airline stories that you have heard (many of which are unfounded). SeAir has a perfect flying record with zero flying accident. In fact, some foreign airlines are tapping the services of SeAir’s Engineering team in Clark (CRK) to do the repair and maintenance check onm their aircrafts.
South East Airlines (SeAir) also boasts as the airline with the most number of flights going to Boracay via Caticlan (MPH) and the airline that has the most number of Palawan destinations. SeAir flies to the following destinations: Manila, Boracay (Caticlan), Busuanga (Coron), Cuyo, El Nido, Tablas, Taytay, Clark, Puerto Princesa, Cebu, Camiguin, Cotabato, Siargao, Zamboanga, Jolo, and Tawi-tawi.

How’s the pressure inside the cabin? We rode the smaller air craft three years ago and the air pressure was really terrible (for me anyway)
Nina!
