When I recently went to Boracay, never did it came into my mind that it was also the time for the Boracay Ati-atihan Festival. The festival, is somewhat patterned after the Kalibo and the Ibajay ati-atihan. Only that the participants do not wear large, elaborate and colourful costumes. Their version is much simpler but definitely its essence is still there.
