A surprise delivery…

My birthday’s over. It’s already Juanry 25th my mind’s now focused on my trip tomorrow. But all of a sufdden our company guard has called my attention and informed me that I have a delivery package. Hmmmm. Nah, I’m pretty sure it’s not the United Nations parcel that I’m excpeting. It’s too early for its delivery. I was so surprised to see a big box of cake waiting for me.
The cake was actually came from Amor Maclang of Geisler-Maclang PR firm. One of the biggest and most influential PR companies in the Philippines. Thank you so much for the cake!
I would also like to take this oppurtunity to say THANK YOU to all who sent SMS, emails and made phone calls greeting me on my special day. Maraming Salamat po!
A Big Big Thank you also to my sister for the delicious chicken lunch and dinner, as well as to Arthur for the delicious cake you brought last night. Thanks!
And tomorrow at 5 in the morning, I will be flying to Iloilo City for the annual Dinagyang Festival. It has been my annual pilgrimage to the Queen’s City of the South to pay homage to the Santo Niño every fourth Sunday of January.
This year’s trip however, will be different. This time I will be going in and out of Manila through the Philippine’s newest airports. I will be leaving Manila tomorrow for Iloilo whose airport was just opened sometime last year. On Monday I will be flying back to Manila from the New Bacolod Silay Airport which was just opened last week. I’m really excited to see it! Check out my posts about this next week.
And on Wednesday, January 30, for the first time in my entire life, I will be flying to the breathtaking Batanes! And by Wednesday, Batanes will become the 30th province I have been to. Thank you Geisler Maclang for the invite!
