Is it summer already?

Looks like the Philippine summer time is almost here. This year’s Holy Week even comes early in March. And yes, the heat of the summer sun is almost unbearable now. While I was walking along Paseo de Roxas Avenue in Makati City, I really cannot bear the heat anymore. IT’s just so hot! Even at night time, I need to full blast my electric fan to feel the air.
And talking about summer, it’s time for many Filipinos to once again, put out those sunblocks, bikinis, board shorts and, yes, those lovely and cutesy flip flops. And definitely time to hit the beach again! Bask in the summer sun, wade in the aquamarine waters or just simply laze on the beach front.
I’m pretty sure popular beach resorts will once again be flocked with all the beach lovers. The perennial holiday pilgrim site Boracay, Puerto Galera, Cebu, Palawan and Batangas will surely be fully booked especially on weekends.
So if you intend to enjoy the sand sea and sun, go and book early.
Summer is best experienced in the beach.
