Philippines’ Boracay Island named as the World’s Most Popular Beach

Hey hey hey!! We’ve made it again!
Yahoo Travel has once again listed the island paradise of Boracay in central Philippines as the most popular beach in 2007. Also making it to the elite circle of ten is Cebu which can also be found in the Central Visayas region.
Boracay’s famed white beach is hailed by the many as one of the best beaches in the world. Powdery white sand, aquamarine waters, lush marine life, exciting water sports, and the coolest party place all in one spot.
Boracay island will also host the 2014 Asian Beach Games which will feature events like beach volleyball, dragon boat racing, jet skiing, windsurfing, sailing and paragliding.

boracay is really beautiful. the beach that is. but beyond that, its overly hyped, crowded and lots of pesky vendors selling fake watches, shells, sunglasses and boat trips.
