Malaybalay Bukidnon’s Kaamulan Festival 2008 schedule

The province of Bukidnon’s Kaamulan Festival is known as one of the most colorful festivals in the Mindanao region. Kaamulan is an ethnic festivity featuring the seven hill tribes of Bukidnon. Bukidnon is known as the pineapple capital of the Philppines. Vast tracts of land in Malaybalay and other otwns of Bukidnon as used in growing pineapples. One of the world’s biggest pineapple producers, Del Monte Philippines, in fact has plantation and canning plant here.

    Maayad ha maselem! Salamat tungkay ta-ini ha website n’yu. Hina-ut unta ha hadi umuran daw hadi mag-brownout para maglampus sa maayad ha Kaamulan Festival. Am very proud of the Kaamulan: A annual celebration to promote and preserve my culture and other indigenous culture in Bukidnon. I know cultural change is inevitable. Just hoping that catalysts wouldn’t force our indigenous people groups to change.
