One of the most memorable moments during my recent trip to Angono in Rizal Philippines is the visit to the Blanco Family Museum. I must admit, I was so surprised at what I saw. An family that is just so blessed with all the talents in visual arts.

The Supreme Court of the Philippines is set to release the results of the Bar Exams 2009. Check who is the Bar Exam topnotcher this year, The top ten Law schools of the Philippines and the roll of successful Bar Exam Passers.
The results will be released soon at the Supreme Court of the Philippines.
Last year’s Bar Topnotcher is Judy Lardizabal of San Sebastian College Manila. She got a rate of 85.70.
Second placer Mylene Amercol Macumbal of the Mindanao State University got 85.65 percent
Oliver Baclay Jr of the Ateneo de Manila University landed at third place with 85.6 percent.

Angono Rizal has been knwon as the art capital of the Philippines. Art is just everywhere. From the visual type to music. In fact this little town has already produced not one but two (and soon to be three!) National Artists. These are Carlos “Botong” Francicso for the visual arts, and Lucio San Pedro (of “em>Sa Ugoy ng Duyan fame) for music.

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the airline business owned by the Gokongwei conglomerate, JG Summit Holdings Inc., will mount additional flights to Butuan and Tagbilaran this summer period.
At present, CEB flies a daily A320 service to Butuan and a twice daily A319 service to Tagbilaran.
