I have been to Passi City but I only had a glimpse of this event through TV due to my frequently demanding schedule. Pintados are tribes in Central Panay less organized than the Atis which on the other hand been represented during Iloilo City’s Dinagyang and Kalibo’s Ati-Atihan. They however had far more colorful culture. Even I am not comming, I still invite everyone to watch Pintados Today.

Hello! I have been to Pintados last March 16, the event was so nice, even though it’s raining during the competition. The body tatoos are so overwhelming than a totally dark colored like those of the Dinagyang and Ati-Atihan, also the excitement of the moves and rapid body movements.

Take note the Grand Price is much higher than that of Dinagyang and Kasadyahan of Iloilo City

An event that needs more tourism promotions.

good morning….i just wanna know as to how your pintados de passi differs to that of pintados of tacloban city? i have witnessed pintados festival of tacloban city and i understand that their dancers are painted too (tattooed)….pintados men are a group of warriors located along the shores of samar and leyte….is there a possibility that these warriors have migrated to panay island?
