Dagupan, Pangasinan is known as home of the best tasting Bangus (Milkfish) in the Philippines. And to celebrate the annual bountiful harvest, the people of Dagupan will once again celebrate the Bangus Festival. Various events are lined up during the entire fiesta season. Check the schedule below:

The most widely read publication for scuba diving enthusiasts in the United States, Scuba Diving magazine has placed the country as the top Value Destination for the Pacific and Indian Ocean Region category in the 2007 Top 100 Readers’ Choice Survey.
I have actually included the Cutud Lenten Rites in my 2008 travel calendar, but in all honesty, I am not ready to see real crucifixion with my own two eyes. My day started early at 7AM, leaving Manila for San Pedro Cutud in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga Philippines with Anton Sheker.

Many foreigners call this rites bizarre. Some think its weird. While others think it’s just for a show. The Cutud Lenten Rites is an old Kapampangan Good Friday Tradition. It started way back 1950′s as a dramatization of the Lord’s Suffering where the script was written by an amateur writer in the Kapampangan dialect.
