NAIA Terminal 3 to open for domestic flights on July 23

MANILA, July 14 (PNA) — Despite controversies on the project and after years of delay in operation, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 will have a dry run on July 23 with initial 23 domestic flights per day.

Presidential Task Force on NAIA-3 Chief Michael Defensor, in a telephone interview with Palace reporters, said “in terms of facility and readiness of the airport, we are working on that since the past weeks… since the arrival of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo because of legal condition that had to be satisfied.”

Yey! And I am so excited about this. For the very first time our dearly beloved Philippines will be hosting the WordPress WordCamp!

I am looking forward to this event as I will be able to meet fellow bloogers, Word Press users as well as WordPress themes and plugin developers!

The event will be held on September 6, 2008 at the De la Salle University – College of St. Benilde, Taft Ave., Manila.
