Get ready as Oriental Negros’ biggest tourism event is set to unfold once again! The annual Buglasan Festival 2008 is scheduled October 17-26, 2008 in its capital city Dumaguete.
Buglasan is known as the “Festival of Festivals” of Oriental Negros. The highlights of the event are the trade fair where each and every town and city is allocated a booth where they can showcase their products. Another highlight of Buglasan 2008 will be the streetdancing competition where the festivals from towns and cities compete for the ultimate title of the “Best Festival of the Province.”
I am not supposed to go to the Eraserheads Reunion Concert tomorrow night., especially when it was originally planned to be an event by a cig company. I only learned about the cig company’s withdrawal from the event yesterday. But that still didn’t excite me enough to get concert ticket for Eheads concert.
I am not really a big fan of Eraserheads as a band. But yeah I love their songs. I was in my late high school until college when the Eraserheads music are dominating the airwaves. Until now I am still familiar with the eraserheads lyrics. And yup, I bought that Eheads tribute album 2 years ago. Love it!
It was only this afternoon when I got a gibberish text from Nina “Shirt Red Horse. Can you tell xxxx I need the answer kaagad, I am submitting the list kasi”
It’s not clear. So I asked what it really was. Twas then that I got the whole point: BYAHILO’s going to the Eraserheads concert, FREE!
Haha Lucky me. I just hope we’ll be allowed to bring cameras.
This is probably one of the heartbreaking news I’ve heard this week. Former Grandslam Champion Barangay Villamonte won’t be able to compete this Masskara Festival 2008.
I have been looking forward to seeing them perform this year when I first learned about their plan to join again. This news was even confirmed to me by their choreographer Panoy Cabalcar last June 28, 2008 when we met in Tacloban City during the Sangyaw Festival.
Surigao City’s Bonok Bonok Marajaw Karajaw Festival is set to unfold this year minus its defending champion, the Inuwak Festival from the town of Bacuag.
The Bonok Bonok Marajaw Karajaw is a festival is a Mamanwa ritual of thanksigiving. The fiesta also coincides with the city’s patron saint San Nicolas de Tolentino, thus the festival date always falls on September 10.
