Negros Oriental Buglasan Festival 2008 Schedule

Get ready as Oriental Negros’ biggest tourism event is set to unfold once again! The annual Buglasan Festival 2008 is scheduled October 17-26, 2008 in its capital city Dumaguete.

Buglasan is known as the “Festival of Festivals” of Oriental Negros. The highlights of the event are the trade fair where each and every town and city is allocated a booth where they can showcase their products. Another highlight of Buglasan 2008 will be the streetdancing competition where the festivals from towns and cities compete for the ultimate title of the “Best Festival of the Province.”

Among the festivals to watch out for are the Yagyag Festival of Sibulan, Kinaiyahan Festival of Dauin, Tawo tawo Festival of Bayawan and the Sandurot Festival of Dumaguete City.
