Havaianas Sandals made me a kid again!

Just recently, Havaianas held a family day at the Bonifacio High Street featuring street games that we have used to play.
Long before PSP, Nintendo, Xbox, Gameboy and Wii ruled the modern day kid’s universe, we had piko, sipa, Chinese garter, tumbang preso, patintero and a whole lot more! Games were simpler then, but equally fun as well.
For once Havaianas allowed us to be kids again even just for a day. I brought my sister and my cousin’s daughters to the event and we really all had so much fun playing games.

We braved the sweltering heat of the sun just to play these these street games we all loved to play during weekends and school breaks.
It was also great to see some parents teach their young kids play these games. I have also seen several foreigners playing our very own native games too! It was kind of amusing seeing them play piko luksong lata and Chinese garter. At the visitor’s lounge, there are also several boards for sungka.

But the fun doesn’t just end here. Those who played the games even got the chance to win Havaianas premium items. Nobody got home empty-handed.
I was able to grabe a Havaianas lanyard, coloring book, water color, pencil, ref magnet, notepad and a whole lot more!
Thanks so much to Havaianas and for letting us play like a kid again. I hope there would be a part 2 of this great event!
