Baguio Panagbenga Flower Festival 2009 Schedule

Baguio City will be in full bloom again again as it celebrates the annual Panagbenga Festival 2009 or the Flower Festival.

The 2009 Panagbenga Festival will be a special on for the people of Baguio as the country Summer Capital will be celebrating its centennial year as a city.

Panagbenga Festival 2009

The Flower Festival is expected to be more grandiose. Thousands of tourists are also expected to drive all the way to Baguio City to witness the city’s grandest event.

Check out the tentative schedule of the Panagbenga 2009 below:

February 1 – GRAND OPENING
February 1- March 8 Market Encounter
February 14 – Fluvial Parade
February 22- Street Dancing Parade
February 26 – 28 Abanao Nights Concert
March 2-8 Session Road in Bloom Bazaar
March 1 – Floral Float Parade
March 7 – Pony Boy’s Day
March 8 – Closing Ceremonies

    I think may hang over ka pa gyapon sa Bacolod Masskara Festival! Hehehe!

    ahay toto, daw sala ang 1st sentence mo. imbis nga baguio, bacolod ang ginbutang mo. haha.

    hangover gid tuod sa bacolod.

    Maybe you did really enjoy the maskara festival kaya nasa mind mo pa ang Bacolod…anyway, thanks enrico for sharing info about the forthcoming Panagbenga festival…I can now plan ahead for my yearly lakwatsa in Baguio.

    accurate na po ba sched? Feb 1 to 8 and panagbenga 2009? hehe i need to be accurate, tinatanong kasi ako ng boss ko e, he needs to book flight not coinsiding with the event…
