Pampanga Giant Lantern Festival Ligligan Parul 2008

This December, the City of San Fernando, Pampanga will once again prove to the world, that they are Christmas Capital of the Philippines. Expect large lanterns of up to 15 meters high dance to an interplay of colors to the tune of Christmas songs.
This year, the City of San Fernando Pampanga will once again showcase its colourful lanterns or locally known as parul during the Ligligan Parul 2008 or the Pampanga Giant Lantern Festival 2008. This year?s event is slated December 20, 2008. The event will be held at the Robinson’s Starmills San Fernando.
This year’s giant lantern festival participants are: San Juan, Sta. Lucia, Dolores, Telabastagan, San Nicolas, San Pedro, Del Pilar, Sto Nino and San Jose.
Witness how creative the Kapampangan folks in creating magic right in front of you. See how they create hearts, circles, arches and swirls in synch with the holiday tunes.
Last year the Giant Lantern of Brgy. Telabastagan bested seven other lanterns for the title of the Best Giant Lantern of Pampanga.
The grand prize winner will receive P100,000, second prize winner will get P50,000 and the third will get P25,000.

Just like to confirm the date, Giant Lantern contest will be on Dec.20’08 at SM Pampanga right?

I just read somewhere that this event will now be held at Robinsons Starmills this year, is this true?
