La Union: Beach capital of the Philippines

MANILA, Nov. 24 (PNA) — La Union is the smallest province in Region I whose bustling industries mark the beginning of what used to be called ?Marcos Country.?
It is a lovely stretch of land, shaped like a left footprint, nestled between the clam waters of the China Sea in the west and the vast ranges of the Cordillera Mountains in the east.
