Sightseeing during our Batanes Travel
Posted on November 28, 2008
Batanes Travel has always been on top my my must-visit provinces, but admittedly, it was not included in my 2008 calendar. I am just so lucky to set foot in this great province this year, not once but twice! And being a newbie to this province, it is just natural for me to explore its wonderful sights, its food, marvel at its unique Ivatan culture.
Check out some of the places that I have been to during our Batanes Travel:

Basco Church - The seat of the Prelature of Batanes

Naidi Hills Lighthouse - Probably one of the most photographed landmarks in Batanes. Its doors are always open which allows tourists to climb up to its peak.

Sitio Songsong or more popularly known as the Ghost Town. This was once a fishing village that has been ravaged by a tsunami. What’s left now are the stone walls of houses.

Marlboro Hills - This is were cows, goats, and carabaos run wild and free. One of my favorite places during our Batanes Travel!
Part 2 coming up!
