A thousand and one stories at the FullyBooked Bonifacio High Street
Posted on December 29, 2008
Just recently I was invited to attend a blogger?s event for FullyBooked Bonifacio High Street. It wouldn?t take much of an effort for a PR company to convince me to come to this event since I myself is a big fan of FullyBooked in Bonifacio High Street.
In fact a lot of my books and maps were purchased here. What made me adore FullyBooked Bonifacio High Street? Its sheer size of five storey complete with caf? is too good to be true for me. I love how they arrange their books starting with the graphic novels, comics, and mangas at the basement up to its lifestyle section on top.
I also like the idea where one can just sit down in one of its corners and read books, though this idea is also used by other bookstores across Metro Manila.
Fully Booked in Bonifacio High Street isn?t just for the bibliophiles. Audiophiles or the music lovers will never be left out here. A large collection of CDs are available. One can also sample these CDs in appointed areas at the third level.
Ask my favorite section? The Travel, of course. I just so love their vast collection of travel guides and travelogues. It?s just a pity though that there are only a handful of Philippine travel books, and most of them are outdated.
There is also a section/gallery where artists can hold exhibits or launch their CD albums or books.
The topmost level of the building is an ideal place for social events like small parties or cocktails. Its glass walls have a perfect view of the Ortigas and Makati skyline.
Before the Blogger?s event ended, FullyBooked unveiled several books in front of us. They allowed us to pick two for each one of us. I was so lucky to bring home a Star Wars and Da Vinci Code books, both of them hardbound!
Thanks FullyBooked and Yehey! for organizing this event.

Hi! Thanks for coming to the Fully Booked Bloggers event. Bloggers Book Club (BBC) members are exclusively invited to join the Book Geek Competition this January. Would appreciate it a lot if you could help spread the word to other members as well. Thanks so much and Good day!
