Luces in the Sky Fireworks Competition

Probably one of the newer activities during the Dinagyang Festival is the Luces in the Sky Fireworks Competition. It is a contest showcasing the best fireworks makers from all over the country.
It was a really a sight to behold seeing all these colorful fireworks lighting up the Iloilo skies.
Luces in the Sky is now on its second edition. Unlike last year where it as only staged for one night, this year the contest was split into two nights. The grand show of lights was set January 23 and 24. I was able to catch the show on the 24th. And as expected, thousands showed up in SM City Iloilo. Traffic has been literally paralyzed which forced us to walk from SM City to a coffee shop near Sarabia Manor Hotel in General Luna St. which is approximatly 2 kilometers.
