Dagupan Bangus Festival 2009

It’s summer time once again and that means, Bangus Festival is just around the corner! Pangasinan will once again be flocked with tourists and balikbayan as it celebrates its annual festival named after the Philippines’ National Fish.
The Bangus Festival, is named after the province’s main produce: Bangus, or milkfish. The festivals highlights are the nightly streetparty, the streetdancing competition, the bangus cooking contests and the fluvial partade known as the Pista y Dayat.
