When one mentions that name Bohol, it would be impossible to not conjure the images of chocolate hills in one’s mind. These limestone cliffs are probably the top tourist destination in Bohol.

Visiting Bohol would never be complete without paying a visit to the centuries-old Baclayon Church.
The Church of Baclayon is officially known as the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. It is said the this church is the second oldest in the Phillippines, second only to the San Agustin in Intramuros Manila.

Two weeks ago, I was able to catch a show on local television which showed the grim state of the tarsiers in Bohol today. I was so shocked to see the video footages and photographs of the tarsiers commiting su|cide, or dying at an early age.
The show became an eye-opener for me as I was scheduled to go to Bohol three days after that TV show was aired.
