I am scheduled to leave Manila today to witness the grand opening of the annual Panaad sa Negros 2009 in Bacolod City and the Traditional Send off Party of Iloilo City for Tribu Kasag and Dinagyang Festival as they journey to Manila to compete in the annual Aliwan 2009.

Tribu Kasag of Kasadyahan Festival
Just before the Holy week, I was already able to get 2 copies of the new Travel Guide which has a full spread of a photo which I took. Just this afternoon, a mailman knocked on our door to deliver the BYAHILO Postcards I have have requested to be printed in the US.
I will be raffling off the travel guides soon. And the the postcards be sent via snail mail to lucky winners. Watch out for the contest mechanics just before the week ends!
In the meantime, stay tuned, as I a, about to travel once again to cover another great event in the Visayas Area. Two great events actually, will be covered. This is going to be a tale of two cities in two provinces!
Happy Easter Everyone!
A lot of people have been asking me how to go to the Manila Airports on a shoestring budget. Sure thing, there are a lot of cabs waiting for travelers to be dropped at the terminals by for the backpackers and those traveling on a tight budget, the jeepneys and buses are the way to go.
BYAHILO joins the entire Christian world in the observance of the Holy Week. Regular blogging schedule will resume on Easter Sunday. Have a blessed week dear readers!

Photo was taken last year during the Cutud Lenten Rites in San Pedro Cutud, San Fernando Pampanga. The place is just one of the many where real crucifixions are held during high noon of Good Friday.
