BYAHILO is now sporting a new blog header!

Havent you noticed that the plain old boring black header is long gone? i have finally decided to remove the plain black header and changed it with something new. Something that is so very BYAHILO.
The new blog header contains images I myself took. It features the mural from the Chapel of the Angry christ in Victorias City, the Pintaflores Festival of san Carlos City and the Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson mansion more popularly known as The Ruins in talisay City all in Negros Occidental.
I have decided to include these three because they all came from my province. Though beautiful and I must say, world-class still not a lot of people are aware that these wonders can be found in Negros.
The fourth photo features the lead dancer of the Buyogan Festival of Abuyog Leyte. I included them here because of the great achievements that they got, that people ae now starting to recognize them as a festival, and the town of abuyog is also getting known becasue of this. Buyogan became the Grand Champion in the 2008 pintados Kasadyaan in Tacloban last June, pocketing 1Million Pesos in prize money. Seven months later, they emerged as the Grand champion in the Free Interpretation Category of the Cebu Sinulog Festival 2009 beating the highly-favored and defending champion Lumad Basakanon. And just last week, they awed the entire Philippines once again as they bagged the top prize in the annual Aliwan Fiesta 2009, collecting 1Million Pesos as the team prize.
The rightmost photo features one of the most popular eco destinations in the Philippines, the Chololate Hills of Bohol. Every year thousands of tourists flock to Bohol just to see these limestone cliffs shaped like chocolate kisses.
i just simply arranged these photographs as one long image. I really didn’t do any photoshopping since i do not know how to use it. Just like my photographs here, everything is in its original state, walang retoke
