Lovi Poe,. Sam Concepcion, and Ina Feleo present Aliwan Fiesta 2009 through the eyes of today’s tech-savvy youth in the television special produced by Bluescreen Entertainment for Manila Broadcasting Company, which will be aired over TV-5 on Wednesday, May 27 at 9:00 p.m., with replays over RHTV (Dream Satellite Channel 10 and Cable Link Channel 9) on Saturday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 31, at 12 noon.

The annual Ambassadors, Consuls General, and Tourism Directors Tour in the Philippines (ACGTDT) set on July 11-17, 2009 is targeting around 500 participants from the United States and Canada.

A joint project of the Department of Tourism (DOT), the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Trade and Industry, the ACGTDT aims to promote the Philippines’ top tourism spots to second and third generation Filipino-Americans.

The Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) turns up the heat of competition in the fourth run of the “Ready, Set, RORO!” DBP Interisland Race this year, an action-packed, P1-million adventure race that kicks off on May 15 in Siargao island, Surigao, mounted in cooperation with Asian Marine, Montenegro Shipping Lines, Super Shuttle Ferry, and the Manila Broadcasting Company.

That’s Ten teams. Eight destinations. One million pesos.
