BYAHILO’s Sky Experience Adventure at the Edge Coaster in Cebu!

The Sky Experience Adventure is a relatively new attraction in Cebu. It has only opened December 2008 or early January 2009. The Sky Experience Adventure in Cebu has two components: the Sky Walk and the Edge Coaster. And based on the feedback, it looks like the Edge Coaster Cebu is the more popular option.
The Sky Experience Adventure or more popularly known now as The Edge Coaster is located on the 38th floor of Crown Regency Tower.
To check out the ride, one has to get tickets and register at the 19th floor. After getting your ticket, take another elevator that would lead you to the 38th floor for the Edge Coaster Ride or 37th floor for the Sky Walk experience.
Before I actually went to Cebu last week, I said that I’d only go on top of the tower to take photos and never take the ride. I swear, I am not that adventurous.
But Bong was so makulit and he was so successful in convincing me to try the Edge Coaster ride. When the seat started t move, I squinted my eyes hoping not to see anything that under my feet. But alas, di naman pala sya nakakatakot! I actually enjoyed it. It’s just that my knees were aching a bit because it has been carrying all my body weight due to the force of gravity.
The Edge Coaster ride gives you a good view of Cebu from a different perspective. Something that you probably haven’t seen before. Great view of the Capitol, The Fuente Osmeña, San Carlos University, and on a clear day, the island of Bohol.
Probably when I get back to Cebu some other time, maybe I should try the Sky Walk experience. I just don’t know if I have the guts to do it. Hahaha
The Access Pass Ticket (Entrance Only) to the Sky Experience Adventure in Cebu is pegged at Php380.00. While the Edge Coaster or Sky Walk ticket is priced Php500.00. For off peak hours.
For peak hours, Access Pass is Php480.00 while Sky Ride Pass is Php600.00
OPERATING SCHEDULE:
Monday – Friday 02:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Saturday 10:00 AM – 02:00 AM
Sunday 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM
Off Peak Hours:
Monday – Friday on or before 06:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday on or before 04:00 PM
Peak Hours:
Monday – Friday after 06:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday after 04:00 PM
There an on-going promo that’s a buy1 take 1 ticket for access pass and the sky ride pass.
The Edge Coaster Ride is located at the Crown Regency Hotel Tower along Osmeña Blvd., Cebu City. The place is very near the Fuente Osmeña landmark.

this is the 2nd time I encountered Sky Experience Adventure in a blog.
Hubby is a true-blue Cebuano and I’m looking forward to experiencing this before the year ends…:) Mukhang supah enjoy kayo.

Kaka-try lang namin last month..Ang galing talaga..it was our first din na subukan ang edge coaster..:-)Pati yong skywalk di pinalampas…aehheh
wow inggit ako sayo! sayang i was in cebu for 3 weeks last dec for training but i wasn’t able to try that out.
we were there on Feb 13, 2010.
We tried the edge coaster with my friend..Nanginginig tuhod ko pero tawa ng tawa dahil sa excitement at kaba hehe. Thatw as agreat experience.
Yung P600 na binayaran namin ay may kasamang unlimited buffet meal kaya enjoy din sa kainan ang barkada.
Though you we bring perosonal cameras, maganda ang kuha ng official photos nila.. mahal lang ang ..its around P500 yata ang cd copy and around P300 ang print copy.
