Liloan Rosquillos: one of the most-loved Cebuano Pasalubong!

Aside from dried mangoes and Otap, another popular and well-loved pasalubong from Cebu is Rosquillos. and one of the best Rosquillos is Titay’s from the nearby town of Liloan.
The town of Liloan is known to be the home of the original rosquillos. In fact they have embraced it so much and has even created a festival named after this sweet biscuits.
Titay’s is said to be the original maker of this uniquely shaped sweet biscuits which later on became one of the top pasalubongs for the loved ones.
When I return to Cebu sometime soon, I am planning to actually go to the town of Liloan and experience how they make this sweet delights.
Titay’s main shop is located at POBLACION, Liloan, Cebu. However, there are a lot of Pasalubong shops around Cebu City as well as supermarkets that also sells the Titay’s Rosquillos.
I love that! I havent eaten that in a long while. Used to be my dad would bring us stuff from the province and rosquillos would be one of them.

Wow… This brings back lots of good childhood memories with my dad (may he rest in peace!)
We used to supply this to one of the leading grocery store in Cagayan de Oro. Every Saturday, my Dad and I would patiently wait for the boat from Cebu for this item an afterwards we would deliver it.
Life was still very simple then…
