The Negros Showroom: A must-visit when getting pasalubong in Bacolod
Posted by on October 30, 2009
Everytime I go back home in Bacolod City, I never fail to drop by the Negros Showroom. This one-stop-shop pasalubong center is operated by the Association of Negros Producers (ANP), the group behind the annual Negros Trade Fair in Manila.
The Showroom, as the name implies is a show window for all the local producers. This has been their outlet in selling their local export-quality goods like handicrafts, pastries, Tshirts, keychains, ref magnets, furniture, and a lot more.
The Negros Showroom has been a favorite one-stop-shop pasalubong center of many tourists and balikbayans.
During the recently-concluded Masskara Festival, the Negros showroom opened until midnight for the tourists to enjoy shopping local goods.
For my pasalubong, I bought keychains and Tshirts here. And the fried Abobong Pitaw is Love! I do not know what kind of bird pitaw is. But I only get to taste this in Bacolod. A must-buy when I get back to Bacolod again next week!
The Negros Showroom is located along Lacson Street, fronting the PNB Bacolod head office.
