Bacolod is quite a large chartered city. And to accomodate all the needs of the Bacolodnons, the city has three large markets, namely the Bacolod Central Market in the downtown area, the Bacolod South Public Market or popularly known as the Libertad Public Market, and the Bacolod North Market or the Burgos Public Market.

The World Pyro Olympics 2009 will be starting this coming Saturday already.
Please be aware that there will be some changes in traffic routing scheme during the weekends of the World Pyrolympics.

Get ready as the Mother of all Philippine Festivals will be back this January 2010! The Kalibo Ati-atihan, known to be the oldest festival in the Philippines will be on its 798th year.
It is said that the Ati-atihan was originally a pagan fiesta celebrated by the ati in Panay especially in Kalibo Aklan, but the Spaniards thought of infusing Catholic elements into it by making the Santo Niño as its central theme. The Ati-atihan is regularly celebrated during the third weekend of January. Check the full schedule below:
