Western Visayas Tourism Assembly 2009 Photos

The City Government of Roxas and the Provincial Government of Capiz jointly hosted the annual Western Visayas Tourism Assembly 2009. Just like during the previous WVTA’s festivals representing the Provinces of Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, Antique, Guimaras and the Chartered Cities of Iloilo and Bacolod are present to showcase the best of the region.
The Western Visayas Tourism Assembly is an annual gathering of tourism stakeholders in the region. It is also a venue where provinces get to showcase the best that they can offer to tourists. A day-long conference was also held discussing the newly enacted Tourism Bill of 2009. Keynote speaker during the event was Dept of Tourism Secretary Ace Durano.
