Festival of Lights and Music in CPU, Jaro Iloilo

Christmas in Iloilo is always something that is always something to look forward to. And in this City of Love, two schools always stand out during this time because of its extravagant Christmas preparations.
Among the two schools in Iloilo has is always bongga in decorating its buildings is the Central Philippine University (CPU located in Jaro District, Iloilo City.
During the month of December, CPU stages the annual Festival of Lights and Music and as part of the celebrations, the buildings inside the campus are decked with lights and other Christmas symbols like parol or lanterns.
Every night, students would flock around the football field area where all the lighted buildings is visible. Non-students are also free to roam inside the campus and be amazed at the beauty of its lights.
When I went there during the first week of December, the temperature in Iloilo was already a bit chilly.
I know this event has already been a tradition in CPU Jaro, but I must admit, this is my first time to actually witness this festive event.
The other school in Iloilo that is known for its bonggang lights during this season is Angelicum. Unfortunately, they were not yet lighted when we visited the school when I was in Iloilo a few weeks back.
