JanSport Launches Limited Edition Reclaimed Backpack Series

JanSport, the original outdoor gear Brand that equips people globally with quality backpacks, travel gear and collegiate apparel, has recently unveiled its new limited edition, one-of-a-kind Reclaimed backpacks.
Ever wonder what happens to packs when they’ve climbed their last mountain or carried their last book? At JanSport we believe when one pack’s journey ends, another one begins. While we stand by our packs for a lifetime, a small portion of bags that arrive at our Warranty Center get replaced instead of repaired—and now we’re giving these un-repaired packs a new life. The result: an inaugural rollout of 150 one-of-a-kind backpacks that are designed, hand-sewn, and autographed by JanSport’s own Warranty Department in Everett, Washington.
“The lifetime guarantee on every JanSport pack gives us a unique opportunity to collaborate with our Warranty Center to design these one-of-a-kind packs with our own reclaimed materials,” says Clytie Choa, Brand Manager for Primer Group of Companies. “The Reclaimed Series brings together JanSport’s 41-year heritage and enables us to create unique packs that truly tell their own individual stories.”
The JanSport Reclaimed Series utilized a combination of reclaimed Cordura®, leather, and printed fabrics. Be on the lookout for the new Reclaimed Series at Bratpack Greenbelt 5 beginning December 2009. Only 5 one-of-a-kind Reclaimed JanSport bags are available in the Philippines.
