Just recent, Marc and I went to the Mystic Island of Siquijor. For many, Siquijor is always associated with faith healing and supernatural powers. But our trip to Siquijor has a different agenda: Breathtaking island views, white sandy beaches, pristine waters, and quiet countryside life. It is a very different Siquijor compared to the images portrayed by the media.

Today, the Pope John Paull II Memorial Monument will be officially unveiled and blessed by His Grace Archbishop Edward Joseph Adams, the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines. He will be assisted by the Bishop of the Diocese of Bacolod, his Excellency, Msgr. Vicente Navarra.

I was recently at the Li’l Fun Ranch in Westgate alabang, as Red the Dog, one of the beloved mascots, treated 50 children from the Educational Research and Development Assistance (ERDA) Foundation to a day of great food and fun when he turned three last February 10.

Here are some more photo’s from the Salapan Festival held last February 15 in Pulupandan, Negros Occidental Philippines. The town is some 45 minutes south of Bacolod City.
