Dagupan Bangus Festival 2010 Schedule

Dagupan City in the province of Pangasinan Philippines is now in high gear as it prepares for the annual celebration of the Bangus Festival 2010. A lot of activities are lined up from April 16-May1. The 2-week festival features concerts, trade fairs, cooking contests, streetdancing and sports tournament. As of this writing, 20 contingents have already confirmed their participation in the upcoming Festivals of the North Street dance competition. The cities if Laoag ang Baguio will be sending two contingents each. While San Fernando Pampanga’s Ibon Ebon festival, Iloilo City’s Dinagyang and Cebu City’s Sinulog festival have already been invited to perform in this grand festival as guest performers. Sounds a lot of fun! I hope to go to this town and see this festival but unfortunately at the moment, I am stuck in Manila doing my research work until the end of April.
