Last Saturday, I traveled from Bacolod City to Iloilo to attend the Iloilo Bloggers Meeting/get together and cover the Pintados de Pasi Festival 2010 in Passi City Iloilo Philippines. I have always been wanting to witness Pintados de Passi festival. Especially after they wowed the Cebuano crowd during the Sinulog Festival in 2005 and in Aliwan Fiesta 2005.

Dagupan City in the province of Pangasinan Philippines is now in high gear as it prepares for the annual celebration of the Bangus Festival 2010. A lot of activities are lined up from April 16-May1. The 2-week festival features concerts, trade fairs, cooking contests, streetdancing and sports tournament. As of this writing, 20 contingents have already confirmed their participation in the upcoming Festivals of the North Street dance competition. The cities if Laoag ang Baguio will be sending two contingents each. While San Fernando Pampanga’s Ibon Ebon festival, Iloilo City’s Dinagyang and Cebu City’s Sinulog festival have already been invited to perform in this grand festival as guest performers. I have been using the Jansport SPUR backpack design for quite some time now. One of the thing I instantly like with Spur is the curved shape of the strap. It gives a better backpack support but at the same time better feel on your back.

Last March 13, we were supposed to wake up early to fully enjoy the resort’s facilities. But most of us woke up very late. At around 8AM we had out buffet breakfast by the beach. Nothing can beat great tasting bacon, sweet pineapple, and the ham, egg and mushroom omelet on the beach front.

Right after breakfast, we got to try the kayak on the lagoon. It was quite easy since there are no waves to counter, and paddling the kayak is really smooth.
