Cebu Jesuit House

During our Cebu trip last March, the Cebu Jesuit House was included as part of our itinerary. I must admit, this is the first time I heard of this house. This is probably one of Cebu’s best kept heritage secrets! The house is hidden from the high walls of lumber yard and hardware shop warehouse. The house was built in 1730 as a house of the Jesuit Superior.

Cebu Pacific Air now flies to Pagadian City

The Philippines’ leading low cost carrier is pleased to announced the opening if its new route in Pagadian City Zamboanga del sur!

Tourists and locals can now enjoy easy access to the prime gateway of beautiful Zamboanga del Sur via CEB’s convenient, inexpensive flights.

Started last April 27, CEB launched its Cebu-Pagadian route, to boost tourism and commerce between the two provinces. And on June 9, a Manila-Pagadian route will commence.

Pagadianons based in Manila and Cebu can now opt to fly home, unwind, and catch up with family and friends more often because of the airline’s very affordable fares, which start at the lowest possible year-round ‘Go Lite’ fare of P1,088.

Moreover, travelers from Cebu and Manila can catch the marvels of uniquely Pagadianon creations like the famous inclined tricycle. Riding this local tricycle—which has a chassis that is literally inclined—will be the perfect way to traverse the mountainside terrains of the province.

Serving as an alternative entry point to the other key cities in Mindanao will lead more Juans to discover the Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park and Bukagan Hill, a tourist attraction-turned pilgrimage destination, in Ozamiz; and the Maria Cristina waterfalls in Iligan, which is the main source of hydroelectric energy in Mindanao; and the historic Dapitan City in Zamboanga del Norte.

For the Wandering Juan who’s looking to explore these cities, head on to www.cebupacificair.com now for more information on CEB’s trademark low fares and flight schedules.

More Photos of Alta Vista de Boracay

Here’s some more photos of my Boracay trip where I got to stay at the posh Alta Vista de Boracay. The luxury hotel resort is perched on top of the hill providing breathtaking views of the fairways and the beach.
