A dining experience from all over the word at Three Sixty Resto Bar
Posted by on June 20, 2010
A few days ago I was invited to dine at the Threesixty Resto Bar located at the A. Venue Makati City. I have been to the A Venue several times, but it was my first time to actually dine in ThreeSixty.
Bong Velasco, the man behind the restobar said that he got the inspiration for the foods served through this travels all over the world. True enough, the dishes served have hints of international flair.
During our dinner we were served with Lotus Rice, 360 Okoy, Korean Beef Stew, Lapu Lapu Fillet Provencal, Roast Beef Tapa, Cajun Shrimps, Banana Peanut Butter Crepe, Buchi Ferrero Rocher.
I missed the Okoy appetizer! I wasn’t able to try this, but Fitz, said Masarap daw….
Among the dishes served for the main course, the surefire hit for me is the Korean Beef Stew and the Roast Beef Tapa. The beef was slow cooked until it became very tender, it almost falls off from the bone. The tapa, on the other hand is a Pinoy classic breakfast fare but was made with a twist. Instead of the traditional beef pieces, the restaurant uses roast beef for its tapa. It was bursting with all the flavors. Masarap sa kanin, but it would also be a perfect partner for beer!
After the main course came the best kept secret: The desserts! First to arrive on our dining table was the Banana Peanut Butter Crepe ala mode, the the Buchi Ferrero Rocher. Between the two, my farovite is the Buchi Ferrero Rocher. Its not your usual Chinese dimsum fare that is filled with ground beans. The 360 Resto bar version is filled with Ferror Rocher Chocolate! Grabe ang Sarap! Who could’ve thought that a familiar Chinese fare could be re-invented into something like this?
All in all, the dining experience is very very pleasant. The food is great. The acoustic entertainment on Tuesdays is pretty good too. I like the band’s repertoire. The place is also a good venue for private parties or functions. There’s one this that has really wowed me even before I even got to take my seat: The Resto’s entrance. Ang ganda ng design! It looks so futuristic. Parang sa set ng Sci fi movie! Napa wow talaga ako!

I’d definitely go back here to experience the food again. I’d definitely order the Korean Beef Stew and Roast Beef Tapa!
