Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2011 Schedule!

Iloilo’s biggest festival and the Philippines Top Tourism Event will once again be held this January 2011! Get read as Ilonggos would paint themselves in black and wear colorful costumes and dance to the hypnotic drumbeats as they chat “Hala Bira! Viva Senor Santo Nino!” Dinagyang has been awarded by the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines as the Best Tourism Event of the Country. The festival has recently won the grand prize of the annual Aliwan Fiesta 2010 in Metro Manila

would anyone help me with the schedule for dinagyang 2011? i’d like to know the exact date the parade/street dancing is gonna be? we already have tickets for Dumaguete for January 12-16. i’d like to be sure of the dinagyang festival so i can make the necessary arrangements. is the festival during the 3rd week or the 4th week? i’d like to take great pictures like the ones in this site.. so, can u suggest what date we can proceed to iloilo from dumaguete.. even if it means extending our vacation and rebooking our tickets.. thanks
