Everytime I visit the island province of Guimaras, I never fail to buy mangoes for pasalubong. Guimaras is said to be the home of the sweetest mangoes in the world. And of course, the Philippines’ best!

Traveling to Guimaras will never be complete without doing the island hopping tour. For a few hundred bucks, you get to see some of the beautiful white sand beaches, amaze at the wonderful rock formation of the islands, get to see and hold some sea turtles (pawikan) or snorkel at some of the most beautiful coral gardens.

Alubihod Beach is a popular weekend destinations in Nueva Valencia Guimaras, Philippines. Alubihod boasts of white powdery sand, and clear waters. Locals would often troop in resorts lined up along this area.
