Keiko Ken Kambingan

I first learned about Keiko Ken Kambingan from Avel’s blog post. From his blog post, the food looks really good.

And when I recently visited General Santos City recently, Avel and Orman brought me to Keiko Ken to experience it myself.

At first look, you would think that Keiko Ken Kambingan is just like any other carinderia. Even its interior is very similar to carinderias.

Upon entering, you will be greeted by rows of pots (or kaldero) where different goat dishes are ready to be served.

During our hearty lunch we had: Kalderetang Kambing, Kinilaw na Kambing, Papaitan, Sinampalukang Kambing, and Adobong Kambing. Ang dami noh?!

Among the dishes served, my favorite is the Calderetang Kambing, Sinampalukang Kambing and the kinilaw na kambing. I love the thickness of the soup of the Sinampalukan. And the sourness is just perfect. The kaldereta is also good. The meat is really tender. It was my first time to try the Kinilaw na kambing, but I instantly love it.

You might wonder how much we paid for our meals. The price is really affordable. Trust me! It’s must-try when in General Santos City!

Keiko Ken Kambingan is located at Purok Malakas, Nunez Street, general Santos City. Many thanks to Avel and Orman for the lunch! I’d definitely go back here!
