Lake Sebu’s Seven Falls
Posted by on July 27, 2010
One of the places I got the chance to visit while in Lake Sebu South Cotabato is the Dongon Seven Waterfalls or more popularly known as the “Seven Falls”.
It was named as such because part of the waterfalls area belongs to the property of the Dongon Family. The first falls is the most easily accessible with paved footwalk. You’ll have to exert more effort in walking to reach the second falls.
But to totally explore and see the vastness of the whole place, you need to ride the Seven Falls ZipLine!
Weeks before I actually flew to Lake Sebu, some friends were already pushing me to try the zip line in Lake Sebu. I always dread the thought of doing it. Is it safe? Can it really handle my heavy weight? What if it’ll snap while I’m in the middle of nowhere? Kaloka noh?
Finally when I arrived in Lake Sebu, I decided to do the zipline, my my travel buddy Sinjin, stood true to his decision to be the cheering squad. Papalakpak na lang daw sya! Okay…
So when we finally arrived at the Seven Falls, I can see the vastness of the whole area. Nakakalula ang lapad ng lugar!
I chickened out.
Natakot ako. Even the guys at the Zip Line station are convincing me to do it. Sorry, di talaga kaya ng powers ko!

Hanggang photo op lang ang powers ko!
After taking photos of the area, we went back to Punta Isla Lake Resort.
I would definitely go back to Lake Sebu next year. And hopefully kakayanin ko na ang zipline!
Who wants to go with me? Ayoko mag zip line nang mag isa! Hahaha

Go Yaya! Zipline tayo!
I’m glad you visited this part of our country. Lake Sebu is such an enduring place, with still many undiscovered wonders, still hidden from the public eye. I had a great month stay there and it has long been my favorite destination. Do try the zipline ride next time!
Cheers to your blog
