Preparations are now in full blast as the Province of Negros Oriental stages the annual Buglasan Festival 2010! Every year, all roads lead to Sidlakang Negros, the home of the Buglasan Festival for a week-long festivity.
During this time of the year, The Sidlakang Negros which is located in Dumaguete gets well decorated as this becomes the home of the festival for the next few days.
It is also during this time when the towns would go out of their way to promote the various tourist destinations, as well as sell local produce like fresh fruits, vegetables, native delicacies or even some handicrafts which is a perfect pasalubong gift!

The Pasigarbo sa Sugbo 2010 was recently held in Mandaue City Cebu Philippines. The festival is just on its third year, but it has grown by leaps and bounds. It has improved tremendously. But despite its improvements, there are still some things that need to be done to improve the Pasigarbo sa Sugbo. I won’t be surprised if after 10 years, Pasirgarbo will become one of the top provincial festivals of the country.

I have been flying via Zest Air for several times now. And since they started flying to major airports like Iloilo Bacolod and Cebu, I never had any complaints about their service, whatsoever. I am so used to 1 or 2-hour flight delays. I just simply pass it off as a normal occurrence. In fact, last August 20 I flew to Davao for the Kadayawan Festival via Zest Air/
So while we were having a good dinner in Cebu City August 16, at around 9PM, Don received a phone call from a Zest Air agent, Don gave the phone to Fitz who talked to the agent.
Right after the call, Fitz told us that our August 16, 11:55PM flight for Manila will be delayed to August 17, 3AM. Right there and then I said to my two travel buddies that we need a place to stay since we still have 6 hours before flight departure.
