Iloilo City hosts the first Visayas Blogging Summit 2010!

This November 27-28 Bloggers from all over the Visayas Region in the Philippines will gather in Iloilo City for the first ever Visayas Blogging Summit 2010. The event aims to gather bloggers from the region as well as blogger friends from Luzon, Metro Manila, and Mindanao. The event aims to be the largest gathering in the Visayan Region.
The Visayas Blogging Summit is organized by the Iloilo Bloggers Organization, with the support and endorsement of Philippine Blog Awards Inc. The Iloilo Bloggers Organization is a diverse group of people who have gathered with the mission to promote blogging in Iloilo.
Preparations are already in full swing. We’re really working hard to make this event successful, and of course to showcase the best of Iloilo!
On November 27, A whole day conference will be held with big names from the blogging Community invited to do the talk. The whole day summit will be held at the CAP Auditorium along Gen. Luna Street Iloilo City.
After the summit, on the evening of November 27 is the 2nd Philippine Blog Awards – Visayas. The awards aims to recognize the cream of the crop of the Visayas Region.
On day 2, November 28, all the Visayas Blogging Summit delegates will be treated to a whole day of Tour that would showcase the best of Iloilo.
The itinerary for the VBS 2010 tour has not yet been finalized, but definitely, we will showcase to our guests the grand mansions in Jaro, the UNESCO World Heritage Church of Miag-ao, The war-themed Church of San Joaquin and a whole lot more!
