The 3M innovaton Tour

A few weeks back, I was invited to join the 3M innovation Tour at their office along South Super Highway. If there’s one thing that made 3M standout, it’s Innovation. 3M is a company that never ceases to innovate, and create new exciting products that would range from the very basic Consumer goods to Construction and Electrical products.
3M IS Innovation. We live it. We breathe it. It is everywhere around us. It is part of our fabric, our essence, our fundamental principles…our very DNA.
To the outside world, 3M looks too industrial, sometimes too consumer. To
others a science, for some like magic. Simply put, 3M is in the business of
innovation. It is everywhere around us.
That is the main reason why they invited several bloggers in their Technical
Customer Center in Bangkal Makati for an Innovation Experience. The tour
features 10 methods rooms that showcase 3M’s practical and ingenious solutions
– at home, in the marketplace, on the go, arthe various industries where 3M is involved. We got to see how 3M is involved in ound the world.
During the tour, we were led to several rooms featuring Dental medicine, Health Care, Automotive Market, Industrial Adhesives, Renewable Energy, Consumer and Office Goods.
It really was a great tour, because I got to learm more about 3M. Most of us would probably think of 3M as Scotch Tape, Scotch Brite, and Post It. But 3M is more than that. 3M has evolved from a small company to become one of the largest in the world providing products for various industries.
3M operates companies in more than 60 countries and manufactures and
sells products in over 200 countries. In the Philippines, 3M was established in 1964 becoming the 26th subsidiary. Its local head office is located in McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio while two satellite offices are located in Cebu and Davao.
