A weekend of relaxation at One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites

Two weeks ago, I received an invitation from One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites for an overnight stay together with select bloggers. I have been to Tagaytay City Philippines countless times, but I have never spent a night in this cool city before, so I said OK to the invitation.

One Tagaytay Place is a relatively new hotel in Tagaytay. the hotel opened its doors two years ago. What is good with One tagaytay Place Hotel Suits is its location. It is located a bit far the from noisy spot of Tagaytay. A perfect weekend getaway for those who want to escape the noise of the Metro and enjoy the cool climate.

Those who frequent Tagaytay for its nice climate will now have a better choice. One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites features 120 cozy and hip rooms and suites in post-modern fusion interiors. Each rooms are fully air conditioned, with electronic lock system, electronic room safe, a mini bar, DVD player, LCD flat Screen TV, coffee maker, Wifi Access, IDD and NDD telephone and veranda on majority of the rooms. During our stay, our dinner was hosted by Tower Lounge Steakbar. Tower Lounge is known for its mouth-watering steaks. Tower Lounge is located at the third level of the building. During our dinner I had rib eye cooked medium rare. The steak is really good. Pair it with red wine and it’s perfect!

Tower Lounge is a really good place to unwind on a weekend evening. Aside from the delectable steaks, Tower Lounge also serves a wide array of drinks. There’s also an acoustic band during weekends.

One Tagaytay Place also has other facilities which include: Spa and Fitness Center, Game Room, Adult and Kids Swimming pools, Viewing deck, Room Service, 4-hour security and CCTV, Azalea Restaurant and Bar, Aurora Grand Ballroom, Conference and Meeting Rooms, Business Center, Concierge and Reception desk, 4-hour standby generator, Adequate parking space, and The Verve Gallery.

During our first day, we were toured on the various facilities of the hotel and everything looks impressive. I love the 360 degrees unobstructed view of Tagaytay from the Viewing Deck.

The pool is oh-so-lovely. I was actually tempted to take a dip but fortunately I was so successful in resisting temptation.

Our lunch during our second day was at the Azalea Restaurant. We had the option to order from their menu or get the Mongolian Buffet. I opted for the latter. And it looks like I made the right choice. The Mongolian Buffet is really good. I ended up finishing two bowls of goodness!

The stylish restaurant cafe is also equipped with a dining room for private meetings of up to 10 guests. But if you want to simply chill out and dine al fresco style, The Tower Lounge is the perfect place to be.

The Aurora Ballroom of One Tagaytay Place is an ideal venue for conferences, training, seminars, product launching, and social events. It seats 300 persons and equipped with audio video equipments, built in wide screen and overhead projector.

And to complete our weekend getaway experience, I got a complimentary whole body massage. I always love getting pampered. And the massage is just perfect.
