Tuguegarao Metropolitan Cathedral

When in Tuguegarao City, one of the pacethat should not be missed is the Tuguegarao Metropolitan Cathedral, is simply called the Tuguegarao Cathedral.
The Tuguegarao Cathedral is the seat of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao and it is said to be the largest Spanish built church in the entire Cagayan Valley Region. The church was built under the administration of the Dominican Friars.
the historical marker which was installed by the National Historical Institute add that, the Diocese was established by Pope Pious X on December 6, 1911. The church was also destroyed during the World War in 1945 but was succcessfully restored under the leadership of Msgr. Constance Jurgens.
