Here are some more photos from the recently-concluded Pintaflores Festival in san Carlos City Negros Occidental Philippines. Pintaflores is hailed as one of the most colorful festival in the provinceof Negros Occidental and is a perennial phorographer’s favorite during the annual Sinulog Festival in Cebu City.
Tribu Dhukikit of Champion: Ramon Magsaysay Elementary School / SOF – School of the Future was abel to successfully defend its title as thePintaflores Pintabata Category Champion.
The group also won the special awards: Best in Ritual Performance, Best in Costume, Best in Musicality, and Best in Choreography.
Tribu Dos Once of South Elementary School bagged the First Runner Up trophy. they also won the Best in Streetdancing Award.
2nd runner up in this year’s Pintabata contest is from Tandang Sora Elementary School.
In the Pintaflores high School Category, Champion: Colegio de Santa Rita baggedthe Championship trophy, besting 5 other high schools of the City. They also won the Best in Costume Award.
Colegio de Sto. Tomas – Recoletos won the First runner Up trophy.
Second runner up is Julio Ledesma National High School. The group also won the Best in Street dance and Best in Choreography Award.
