Melo’s steak for dinner
Posted by on November 24, 2010
Last week I was in Melo’s to try their latest offering known as the Italian Trio. Knowing it’s from Melo’s I know the food must be really great. And the steaks, I’m definitely sure will always be the best.
The Italian Trio is the newest offering in Melo’s. During our dinner I got to sample the three mouth watering steaks paired with pasta.
My dinner started with Creamy PepperSteak Aglio Olio – it is an 8oz Wagyu Center-cut Tenderloin (Grade 8 ) with Creamy Peppercorn Sauce served with Pasta Aglio Olio and Sun-Dried Tomatoes. The meat is just sooooo tender. It has a butter-y feel. After all it is Grade 8 Wagyu Tenderloin!
The second steak served was Steak Mediterrenean. The second meal is composed of an 8oz Wagyu Ribeye (Grade 6) with Foie Gras served with Rosemary Red Wine Shallot Sauce and Pasta Alfredo.
The third steak I got to sample is the Steak Porcini, an 8oz Wagyu Center-cut Tenderloin (Grade 8 ) wrapped in Bacon with Al Funghi Porcini Sauce and Penne Pesto Pasta.
I love steaks. Especially Wagyu Tenderloin cooked medium rare. Among the steak cuts, generally, it is the tenderloin that is the most tender. Masarap talaga! Imagine, I no longer have to go to Italy or spend Spain Holidays just to try these delectable steaks. There’s Melo’s all over the Metro. They have branches in Quezon City, Jupiter St. Makati, Burgos Circle, Fort Bonifcio and Alabang.
I hope I can have another steak dinner here soon! Sarap ng medium rare steak! yum yum!
