Tumauini Church

The beautiful Tumauini Church has been in my bucket list for quite some time now. I am always amazed at the beauty of this church since I first discovered it through the Department of Tourism ad campaigns before.

Parang kelan lang…

Six years ago…

I was still a Technical Support Agent then, working day in and day out at SYKES Asia.

Six years ago, October 2004, Bacolod marked the Silvery Anniversary of the Masskara Festival.

Six years ago, I went home in Bacolod for the first time since I left the city for good.

And six years ago, this blog BYAHILO was born. Parang kelan lang no. Ang bilis ng panahon.

Six years ago, I never ever an an inkling that this so-called blogging would bring me to new heights. I had never imagined that one day I will quit my day job, to just travel the entire Philippines to taste its local flavors and experience the local culture.

BYAHILO is turning six today. I am very very grateful for all the blessings that I have received through this blog. Through BYAHILO, I was able travel and experience the best of the Philippines. I was able to travel to Batanes, Zamboanga, GenSan, Basilan, Coron, El Nido, Baguio, Cebu, Legazpi, Ozamis, Marawi and a whole lot more. It has also let me witness some f the most colorful festivals in the country like the Dinagyang Festival, Sinulog, Kadayawan, Pintaflores, Salapan Festival, Panagbenga, Pamulinawen Festival, Panaad sa Negros, Masskara, Pintdos de Pasi, Buyogan Festival, Pintados Kasadyaan and others.

Now that this blog has reached another grandiose year, expect more travels to come. I still have at least 5 flights before the year endss. and for next year, I am already fully booked until August 2011! Expect more new provinces to be explored, more new destinations to be visited!

Maraming salamat for being with me in this six crazy years!
