Felicia’s Pastry Shop: Bacolod’s Newest Sweet Spot
Posted by on December 8, 2010
I have heard of Felicia’s as early as last year, but it was only recently that I finally got to try their sweet offerings.
Felicia’s Pastry Cafe is located along 6th street in Bacolod, the Capital of the Sugar Rich province of Negros Occidental.
Negros Occidental is known to be the biggest producer of Sugar in the Philippines. It is a given fact. So it is not a surprise to see pastry shops mushrooming all over Bacolod City. The abundance of sugar is an excuse for every Negrense to create sweets.
Last week, I went back home in Bacolod, a City known for its Sweet Smiles. I decided to give Felicia’s a try.
During my first visit, I ordered Sans Rival, one of the shop’s bestseller and blueberry macarons.
I always love blueberry, whether its a cooler, or cheesecake, or whatever. And Felicia’s blueberry macarons did not disappoint me. I love their macarons! Yummy!
Their Sans Rival is good too. It’s overloaded with nuts. I love the texture of the cake. And the crunch!
The only thing I do not like witht he sans rical is that it’s ewasily broken. mabilis napudpod. I dunno why.
A few days later, I went back to Felicia’s with some bloggers friends for an afternoon dessert. We ordered the San Rival (again!), Mint and blueberry Macarons, Frozen Brazos de Mercedes, and Choco Rhum Cake (?)
between the blueberry and the mint macarons, I love the Mint more. Masarap sya, and hindi nakaka umay, compared to the blueberry version. I didn’t really enjoy the brazos de mercedes that much. I’d still prefer the traditional brazo over the reinvented one. The choco Rhum Cake is interesting too. I am not really a big fan of chocolate ckae but I still gave it a try.
There are a lot (I mean L-O-T!) of cakes to choose from. I wanted to go back to Bacolod once I get a Late Deal vacation to try the other offerings at Felicia’s. Aside from mouth watering sweet delights, they also offer coffee, and meals.
Felicia’s is located at DOLL Building 6th Street Bacolod City. It is just walking distance from the Provincial Capitol Lagoon.

During my visit to bacolod last month, My friend brought me to that place, you’re right…their cakes are yummy! we’ve also tried sansirival and other cakes which i can no longer remember their names
by the way, do you have any idea on whether felicias deliver cakes within bacolod?
